The Crimson Curve from Climax Clicks is definitely different from the other toys I've tried.
For a start it looks pretty weird - it's very red, and the odd shape looks like it would be at home on an alien space ship. The base is reasonably firm and sturdy and then you have two bullet powered vibrating bits - there's a 4.5" inch long curved shaft and a small nub - each with with its own removable vibrating bullet. The material is soft and smooth and warm to the touch.
The controller is the best bit of the design. It has a seperate on/off button and a one finger 'click' button which scrolls through the different functions. It's really easy to operate and I can see the controller being a huge hit with anyone who has restricted use of their hands. It's even totally waterproof.
It's designed that you sit on the shaft with the base on a flat surface and then let the vibrations get to work. There is a good range of functions offering all the pulses and surges anyone could want. With seven funcions to choose from there's bound to be one that matches your mood to perfection.
For me, the spacing was just a little bit out - the effect was quite frustrating after a while - but the bullets can both be removed and put to use exactly where they are wanted and that was enough to finish things off nicely. The removeable bullets are the second best part of the design - they open up the possibilities for all sorts of extra fun and games. They vibrate in perfect synchronisation and are both nicely powerful meaning that you get at least twice the thrills. You can use both at once, or have one for you and one for a partner - and with seven different pulses just a click away that's an awful lot of options.
